Three Small-Scale Projects funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme officially concluded on Friday, 19 December 2025, after 18 months of implementation and cross-border cooperation.
The projects are:
- MARMAPS (BSB00113), which supported marine ecosystem protection and maritime spatial planning through the development of an open environmental eFolio platform and stakeholder cooperation.
- EcoYOU (BSB00532), which focused on raising environmental awareness among young people, promoting environmentally friendly behaviour through educational activities, campaigns, and joint actions.
- SEAQUEST (BSB00580), which aimed to strengthen research, innovation, and youth engagement in the blue economy, contributing to sustainable growth in maritime and coastal sectors.
All three projects started on 20 June 2024 and have delivered real outputs, strengthened transnational partnerships, and contributed to the Programme’s objectives for a cleaner, greener, and more innovative Black Sea region.
The results and materials developed by the projects will remain available to support future cooperation and policy development.
