The second day of our training event in Bucharest brought together beneficiaries of the 2nd Calls for Proposals for focused sessions on key project management topics.
The day began with a plenary session on procurement, led by Interreg TESIM NEXT. Participants received clear, practical guidance on tender processes, contract awarding, and supplier selection knowledge they can directly apply to their projects.
The Romanian National Controller then delivered a session on management verifications, equipping attendees with the tools to ensure their projects meet all financial and administrative compliance requirements.
After a short break, TESIM led an important session on irregularities, fraud, and corruption. The discussion covered transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in project management, as well as how to identify risks and implement preventive measures.
To conclude the event, we summarized the key takeaways from both days and reminded participants of the resources available to support their work, including the Project Toolkit, Performance Framework Methodology, and Guide for Control.
