We are pleased to invite you to an online thematic event “Cross-border environment in practice: what are projects changing in border regions?”, organised with the support of TESIM project.
The event will take place in Zoom on 18 June, from 9:30 to 12:00 CET.
The meeting will bring together projects from five Interreg NEXT programmes — Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin, Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine, Romania-Ukraine, Romania-Moldova and Poland-Ukraine — to exchange on how cross-border cooperation projects contribute to environmental change in border regions.
The discussion will be structured around three thematic threads:
- Protecting and managing ecosystems, including species and habitat conservation and sustainable ecosystem management;
- Greener and cleaner environments, including urban green infrastructure, pollution reduction, waste and recycling, water-related actions;
- Enabling change through people, knowledge and behaviour, including awareness, education, capacity building and long-term sustainability of project results.
The event will combine short project contributions with moderated discussion and opportunities for participants to reflect on common challenges, practical solutions and the added value of cross-border cooperation.
