Strengthening and Promoting Earthquake Emergency Response and Rescue Capacity in the BSB Area
The Black Sea Basin region faces a shared challenge of inadequate preparedness and coordination among local authorities and research communities in responding effectively to earthquake disasters. The SPEER-A project strengthens cross-border cooperation, enhances disaster response capacities, and pilots innovative tools—such as a virtual reality lab, an emergency mobile app, and adaptable post-disaster housing—to improve earthquake preparedness across the region.
