The Managing Authority together with the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2014-2020” organized on January 31, 2018 a networking event in order to collect and transfer the lessons learned and share experience for the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2014-2020”, thus marking the closure of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013”.
More than 70 people participated in the closure event, representing current and former members of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Black Sea Basin 2007-2013 Programme from the 8 participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine), of the Joint Managing Authority and of the European Commission. In addition, there were present representatives of beneficiaries, of the Audit Authority, and of the technical assistance project TESIM ENI-CBC.
During this final meeting there were open discussions about the achievements and difficulties encountered during the implementation of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013”, and about how the lessons learned can improve the cross-border cooperation in the Black Sea Basin for the 2014-2020 programming period.
