Beneficiaries of the 1st calls for proposals under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme are invited to participate to an online webinar organized on 25 March, 2025, aiming to serve as a platform for discussing key aspects of project implementation, including their evolution and challenges.

REGIOSTARS is the yearly competition, organized by the European Commission since 2008, to award the best projects financed under the Cohesion Policy. Over the years it has become Europe’s label of excellence for EU-funded projects, which demonstrate the impact and inclusiveness of regional development.
During the first months of implementing projects funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, several critical lessons have emerged regarding costs and procurement processes. These insights aim to help project beneficiaries avoid common pitfalls and ensure smooth project execution.
By properly addressing staff cost calculation, avoiding conflicts of interest and artificial splitting of contracts, beneficiaries can enhance their projects’ efficiency and impact, while contributing to the shared objectives of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
