Over the years it has become Europe’s label of excellence for EU-funded projects, which demonstrate the impact and inclusiveness of regional development.
During the first months of implementing projects funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, several critical lessons have emerged regarding costs and procurement processes. These insights aim to help project beneficiaries avoid common pitfalls and ensure smooth project execution.
By properly addressing staff cost calculation, avoiding conflicts of interest and artificial splitting of contracts, beneficiaries can enhance their projects’ efficiency and impact, while contributing to the shared objectives of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
