The Ministry of Regional Development and Housing, acting as Joint Managing Authority for the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea 2007-2013” published the notice for the launch of the first call for proposals. The deadline for submitting project proposal is 12th of October 2009 at 16 00 (local time).
The Joint Monitoring Committee approved on 18th of June 2009 the Application Package (version 10th of June) for the launching of the first Call for Proposals.
Armenia becomes the first partner country to conclude the Financing Agreement with the European Commission. The signature of the Financing Agreement allows Armenia to fully take part at the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea 2007-2013. The other partener countries are expected to conclude the Financing Agreement with the European Commission by the end of 2009.

As Joint Managing Authority for the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme (JOP), the Romanian Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing organized on 16th of December 2008 in Bucharest the first meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) for Black Sea Basin JOP.
The European Commission adopted the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013
The European Commission adopted the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 through the EC Decision C (2008) 7406 from 27 November 2008. There are 10 participating countries in the Black Sea JOP, i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, and Greece. The official launch of the programme, as well as the launch of the first call for proposal will take place at the beginning of 2009.
