Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme submitted to the European Commission for approval

The planning phase of the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme for the 2021-2027 programming period has been finalized. The Interreg Programme was submitted to the European Commission for approval on the 30th of June, 2022.

The representatives of the participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine) previously agreed on the final version of the Programme on 10th of May 2022 and internal national procedures have been initiated immediately after for signature of agreement letters.

It is estimated that the Programme will be officially approved by the European Commission before the end of 2022 and the first call for proposals will be launched in the first semester of 2023.
